Once again Jeremy Corbyn demonstrates what a danger to our National Security he would have been if he’d ever got anywhere near No. 10.

I don’t think very many people would say they don’t want to see peace and an end to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, but that simply isn’t going to happen overnight, and to suggest that you wouldn’t support Ukraine in the interim with weapons and tactical support is verging on negligent.

Ukraine, unlike Russia, has no intention of invading another country; it simply intends to defend its own. Russia is the aggressor; they will only consider coming to the negotiating tablewhen they realise they are losing the battle. For that to happen, the West needs to continue supporting Ukraine as it already is.

Jeremy is likely to liken that view to warmongering, none of us wants to see more innocent civilians and conscripts pay with their lives, but simply standing back and not getting involved, hoping there is an immediate opportunity for discussion, is purely delusional and quite frankly dangerous.
